Flexible plastic olive oil bottles are becoming a supermarket sensation, and shoppers have shared their excitement at Marks & Spencer’s new range.
The squeezy and spritzy trend is sweeping through store aisles, driven by home cooks who want more control over their drizzling and spraying without the mess that comes with traditional glass bottles.
An M&S post racked up more than one million impressions on Instagram and Facebook in under 24 hours.
Fans couldn’t contain their excitement, with comments including “Slay spray” and “These are cuteeee” flooding the posts. Another said, “these look fun”, while one more penned, “Oh wow I need”. A third added they are “obsessed” with the new range.

The squeezy lineup features two standout options: Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Avocado Oil, both in 200ml bottles.
These flexible containers let you squeeze oil directly into your pan with precision, meaning no more accidental overpours ruining your dish. They’re also great for summer barbecues since they’re far easier to transport than glass and fully recyclable.
For those who prefer a lighter touch, there are three spray versions available: Spanish Olive Oil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and an Air Fryer Oil that blends avocado and olive oil.
Every spray contains 100 per cent oil with nothing extra added, delivering a thin, even coating that is perfect for air frying.
Health-conscious cooks will be pleased to know all the oils carry the retailer’s Eat Well seal of approval and are high in monounsaturated fats.
There is a range of prices too, going from £3 for the spray versions up to £6 for the squeezy bottles.
The Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil squeezy is cold extracted, offering a fruity aroma with a light peppery finish that works beautifully on grilled fish and salads.
Meanwhile, the Avocado Oil has a smooth, creamy flavour that is ideal for light sautéing or whisking into dressings. All products are now available in the retailer’s Foodhalls.
