Jisoo is always on the move. Between touring and making new music, the artist has to keep her everyday essentials on hand at all times—among them cameras, hair clips, and her beloved character, Shumons. For Jisoo’s first time going abroad for a music collaboration, and with none other than Zayn, she needed to pack accordingly.
In Vogue’s latest installment of In the Bag, the K-pop star and Blackpink member first pulls her Shumons out of her bag. And what—or who—exactly is Shumon? A character Jisoo drew in middle school that comes in different colors. “Seeing it in real life fills me with emotion,” she says. And today’s color? Pink! Though she switches them up depending on her mood and to match them with different bags, of course.
Other pouches in Jisoo’s Dior bag start to surface, revealing a camera and some accessories, including a mask and sunglasses (to remain discreet while traveling). The camera, however, has been used on tour and with other members of Blackpink, and was loved so much that Rosé even bought her own.
Some of the health and beauty staples Jisoo keeps on hand include eye patches, a gua sha, cold-preventing supplements and Hello Kitty pimple patches. Traveling is not for the faint of heart, so maintaining a skin-care and wellness routine is essential.
As for what’s stashed in her mini bag, maybe she’ll show us for a “What’s In My Bag Part Two.”
