Has Katy Perry found the one to love for lifetimes?
The pop star has made it official with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. The two were spotted on a date in Paris for Perry’s 41st birthday on Saturday. The couple was seen stepping out of the Crazy Horse cabaret holding hands as paparazzi waited for them outside, video obtained by TMZ shows.
Earlier this month, the “Firework” singer and her new beau were photographed kissing on a yacht in Santa Barbara, Calif. Perry and Trudeau first started fueling dating rumors in July after the pair were snapped out in Montreal. Trudeau then attended the singer’s Lifetimes Tour stop in the city the following day.

Perry split from her ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom in June after nine years together. The relationship was hot and cold at times, with the couple breaking up in 2017 and reconciling in the next year.
The two share a daughter, Daisy, who was born in 2020. Reps for the former couple told Entertainment Weekly in July that they had been “shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting.”
Bloom addressed the dissolution of his relationship while promoting his film The Cut on TODAY in September, saying there was “nothing but love” between him and Perry.
“I’m great, man. I’m so grateful,” Bloom said. “We have the most beautiful daughter. You know, when you leave everything on the field, like I did in this movie, I feel grateful for all of it.”

Perry has not directly commented on the breakup herself. However, she did share an Instagram post on the first anniversary of her album 143, acknowledging “the incredible impact this last year has had on me.”
Trudeau announced he was separating from his wife Sophie Grégoire in 2023. The couple had been together for 18 years. The two share three children: Xavier, Ella-Grace, and Hadrian.
“As always, we remain a close family with deep love and respect for each other and for everything we have built and will continue to build,” the former prime minister shared in an Instagram post at the time. “For the well-being of our children, we ask that you respect our and their privacy.”
