A bladder control supplement sold through Walmart and Amazon has been recalled due to potential contamination with E. coli, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced Monday.
Purity Products recalled one lot of MyBladder, a dietary supplement, sold nationwide through direct delivery from Walmart and Amazon websites.
The recall was initiated after routine testing detected two strains of E. coli in the products, which can pose the risk of gastrointestinal infections. To date, no illnesses have been reported in connection to the products, which were recalled out of an abundance of caution.
Recalled MyBladder supplements come in white HDPE bottles with white caps, and have the following information:
- Bottle size: 150 CC
- Pill count: 60 clear capsules containing brown powder
- Lot number: 03042517
