Deal alert: Fly to Paris for only 7,100 credit card points

Oftentimes, our deal of the day highlights a luxurious business-class award flight that can get you to your destination in lie-flat comfort. Other times, we find deals that are a little less cushy but simply too good to pass up.

That’s the case with this award flight from JetBlue TrueBlue, which can send you to Paris for as few as 7,100 points. Don’t worry if you don’t have enough TrueBlue points in your account; you can transfer them from five of the major programs with transferable currencies.

Here’s what you need to know before you book this deal.

Note that prices and availability were accurate at the time of writing.

Routes: From Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG)

Best way to book: JetBlue TrueBlue points (or transfer from Chase, Citi, American Express, Wells Fargo or Capital One)

Price: From 7,100 points plus $5.60 in taxes and fees

    Retail price: From $203

Travel dates: December 2025 and beyond

Just 7,100 points for a one-way flight across the pond? You can’t beat that, even if it is in basic economy.

Keep in mind that if you book this rock-bottom Blue Basic fare, you’ll have to pay to check a bag (unless you hold the right JetBlue credit card) or choose your seat; no changes are allowed and a cancellation fee applies. Alternatively, you could pay 17,500 points for a Blue ticket, which includes one checked bag, advance seat selection and no change or cancellation fees.

We’ve seen award seats starting as low as 7,100 points one-way on select dates in December in basic economy. We’ve also seen prices ranging from 17,200 to 21,400 points on other dates throughout the rest of 2025 and early 2026.

For the return flight, there’s plenty of award availability for 16,100 points and $129.53 in taxes and fees. That’s not as stellar a deal, but it’s still lower than we’ve seen with most airline programs for nonstop flights from Paris this winter.

Since this deal is only available on select dates, the Seats.aero tool is a lifesaver when it comes to quickly finding award availability. However, this deal didn’t show up when we searched for flights to Paris; instead, we found it by “exploring” JetBlue TrueBlue.

    SEATS.AERO

Once you find your dates, head to JetBlue’s website to confirm award availability and then book your flight. If you need more TrueBlue points, transfer them from your preferred credit card program before booking.

Ideally, you’ll use Chase Ultimate Rewards or Citi ThankYou Rewards points, which transfer to JetBlue at a 1:1 ratio. Most recently, Wells Fargo Rewards added JetBlue TrueBlue as a 1:1 transfer partner.

Amex Membership Rewards points and Capital One miles transfer at a less desirable ratio of 250:200 and 5:3, respectively, meaning you’ll need to transfer more points or miles to book your ticket.

For example, let’s say you have no TrueBlue points in your account and the only transferable currency you have available is Capital One miles. You’d need to transfer 11,900 miles to your JetBlue account to book a 7,100-point JetBlue award ticket from BOS to CDG. That’s still not a bad deal, but the more points you can save for a future redemption, the better.

Since transfers are irreversible, be sure to confirm award availability before you transfer your hard-earned rewards.

How to earn the points and miles required for TPG’s deal of the day

You can use one of the following JetBlue cards to earn the TrueBlue points you’ll need to fly to Paris. Plus, these cards provide travel perks that will help you get around some of the limitations of basic economy:

    • JetBlue Plus Card: First checked bag free for the cardholder and up to three travel companions
    • JetBlue Premier Card: First checked bag free for the cardholder and up to three travel companions
    • JetBlue Business Card: Group A boarding and one free checked bag for the cardholder and up to three travel companions

The information for the JetBlue Plus, Premier and Business cards has been collected independently by The Points Guy. The card details on this page have not been reviewed or provided by the card issuer.

If you’d rather use credit card points, we recommend transferring from Chase and Citi since they offer the best transfer ratio to JetBlue. The following cards not only earn transferable points on everyday purchases, but will also give you bonus points on the taxes and fees on your award ticket:

Plus, each of the above cards can give you more than enough points for this deal with one welcome bonus.

    Bottom line

It may be hard to believe, but the holidays are almost upon us — and you can never go wrong with Christmas in Paris. If you’re not based in Boston or New York, it might even be worth booking a positioning flight to take advantage of this deal.

But don’t delay. Availability is already limited, and deals like this never last long.

Continue planning your trip to Paris:
