Starting today, a refreshed lineup of perks has gone live for Chase Sapphire Reserve® (see rates and fees) cardholders who opened their account before June 23. (These benefits have been available to new applicants since that date, but all existing cardholders can now activate and start using them, too.)

This update focuses on new statement credits across travel, entertainment and lifestyle categories, along with key changes to how points are earned and redeemed.

Most importantly, these perks are live now, so cardholders can enroll and start using them immediately.

Here’s what’s new and how to maximize your benefits.

    Hotel credits and elite status

You’ll receive an up to $250 hotel credit for stays at The Edit, Chase’s curated luxury hotel collection, to use before the end of the year.

The credit applies to prepaid bookings of at least two nights and includes daily breakfast for two, a $100 on-property credit and early check-in, late checkout and room upgrades (when available). You can even use this year’s credit toward a 2026 stay if it’s charged now.

And starting Jan. 1, 2026, you’ll get two credits of up to $250 each to use each calendar year.

    For example:

    • You could use one credit for a two-night stay from March 3 to 4, 2026 (booked before the end of the year).
    • Then, you could use one of next year’s credits for a stay from March 5 to 6, 2026 (booked from Jan. 1, 2026).
    • The other credit for next year could then be used for a stay from March 7 to 8, 2026 (also booked from Jan. 1, 2026).

That adds up to $750 in credits on a six-night stay at the same property.

On top of that, a separate, one-off $250 hotel credit launches Jan. 1, 2026, for stays of at least two nights at select properties booked through Chase Travel℠, including ones affiliated with IHG Hotels & Resorts, Omni Hotels & Resorts and Virgin Hotels. This credit must be used in the 2026 calendar year.

Cardholders can also enroll for complimentary IHG One Rewards Platinum Elite status (through Dec. 31, 2027) by linking their IHG account through Chase. Platinum Elite status comes with bonus points for stays, plus room upgrades and late checkout (when available).

Use your The Edit credit on a two-night stay before the end of the year, and enroll for complimentary IHG Platinum Elite status.

    StubHub/Viagogo credit

If you enjoy concerts or sports, this credit should be easy to use. You’ll now receive up to $150 biannually in statement credits when purchasing tickets through StubHub or Viagogo through Dec. 31, 2027. Activation is required.

Since these platforms often host high-demand events, the credit can easily cover part of the cost of one big outing every six months. Clicking through Rakuten can earn extra rewards, and checking prices on the day of the event can help you score a better deal.

Activate your StubHub/Viagogo credit, and use up to $150 on a concert or game before the end of 2025.

    Apple credits

You now get complimentary subscriptions to Apple TV+ and Apple Music (valued at up to $250 per year and available through June 22, 2027; activate each service separately through Chase’s website or app).

If you already subscribe, cancel your paid plan and switch to the complimentary one to save money monthly.

Activate your complimentary Apple TV+ and Apple Music subscriptions.

    Dining credit and exclusive reservations

This is two benefits in one: a credit and access to priority reservations.

First, cardholders receive an up to $150 biannual credit for eligible restaurants participating in Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables, which features top spots in major metropolitan areas like Chicago, Los Angeles and New York, as well as smaller cities like Denver and San Antonio. It can be a great way to elevate a night out or try somewhere new.

For the credit to apply, you simply need to pay with your card at an eligible restaurant; no reservation or extra steps are required. Adding your card to Rakuten may allow you to earn extra cash back at select restaurants.

Second, you can get access to priority reservations by logging into your OpenTable account and adding your Chase Sapphire Reserve card as a payment method.

Find and dine at an Exclusive Tables restaurant to use your up to $150 credit before the end of the year.

    Peloton credit

The Peloton credit offers up to $10 per month (through Dec. 31, 2027). Since a Peloton digital membership starts from $9.99 per month (plus taxes), the credit won’t cover the full amount but will partially offset it. Activation is required.

Be sure to pay through Peloton directly — not via app stores — to receive the credit.

Activate the Peloton credit and then sign up for a membership or switch the payment method on your existing one.

    Changes to earning rates

The Sapphire Reserve’s travel earning structure is shifting:

    • Flights and hotels booked directly earn 4 points per dollar spent (up from 3 points per dollar).
    • Flights booked through Chase Travel now earn 8 points per dollar spent (up from 5 points per dollar).
    • Hotels and car rentals through Chase Travel earn 8 points per dollar spent (down from 10 points per dollar).
    • Other travel drops to 1 point per dollar spent (down from 3 points per dollar).

Dining remains at 3 points per dollar spent, and most other purchases continue to earn 1 point per dollar spent.

Switch spending on general travel purchases (such as parking, transit and vacation rentals) to a card that still earns bonus points in these categories, such as the American Express® Green Card or the Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card.

The information for the American Express Green Card and the Ink Business Preferred has been collected independently by The Points Guy. The card details on this page have not been reviewed or provided by the card issuer.

    Devaluation of Chase Travel redemptions

Points earned from this point forward can no longer be redeemed for a fixed 1.5 cents each through Chase Travel. Instead, they’ll qualify for Points Boost (worth up to 2 cents per point with select hotels and airlines or 1 cent per point for everything else).

Points earned before today retain the 1.5-cent fixed-value option until Oct. 26, 2027.

Learn how to maximize Points Boost for higher-value hotel redemptions.

    Bottom line

Today’s changes for the majority of Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders have further transformed it into a hybrid travel and lifestyle card, blending hotel, entertainment, streaming, dining and wellness benefits with new earning and redemption structures.

Many of these perks run through 2027, giving cardholders additional opportunities to get value from the card. Whether that offsets the increased $795 annual fee (effective for all renewals from this point on) will depend on your spending habits.

Most new perks — including IHG elite status, Apple subscriptions and credits for Stubhub and Peloton — require activation in your online Chase account or the issuer’s mobile app first. And make a note to take advantage of the new and enhanced hotel credits from Jan. 1, 2026.
