TV icon Ruby Wax is reportedly being lined up to take part in the next series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
The actress and comedian, 72, is thought to be in advanced talks with ITV ahead of flying out to Australia for the new series which starts next month.
Ruby found fame on ITV sitcom Girls On Top in 1985 and went on to be an interviewer on shows such as the BBC’s Ruby Wax Meets.
A source told The Sun of her being lined up for the show: ‘Ruby’s a proper TV legend and adds real gravitas to this year’s line-up.
‘She’s interviewed some of the biggest stars in the world so will have no problem getting to know her fellow campmates.
‘It will make great TV for viewers.’

A show spokesperson told the Daily Mail: ‘Any names suggested for I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here are just speculation.’
It comes after last week Christine McGuinness risked the wrath of ITV bosses after exclusively confirming to the Daily Mail that she will appear in the upcoming series – just weeks after quitting Celebs Go Dating.
Despite strict secrecy around the star-studded campmates the TV personality, 37, said she’d finally signed up for the show after years of being asked in a ‘f*** it’ moment as she embraces a new chapter following her split from husband Paddy, 52.
Christine let the cat out of the bag at last Monday’s Pride of Britain Awards and hinted that due to her fear of heights she may be a latecomer into camp in order to avoid the launch show’s iconic parachute jump.
She said: ‘In the past I am never away from my children, I’d be frightened of the creepy crawlies.
‘I have sensory issues I have never been outside Europe so flying over there would be quite a challenge, but I’ve got a bit of ‘f*** it’.
‘Trying to get over to the jungle might be a bit of a mission, but this year is the year I have been most like ‘f*** it, why not’.
Christine, who was diagnosed with Autism and ADHD in 2020, said that her children, who are also autistic, were now older and used to her being away from home and as the family still lived together, Paddy would be there for them in her absence.

Joined by podcast host Will Njobvu on the red carpet, the stunner went on to discuss other rumoured campmates including Kelly Brook, 45, before grinning and hinting fans would find out about her own involvement in a ‘few weeks’.
Her pal was left stunned after she appeared to well and truly confirm her appearance, snapping: ‘What did you just say?! You’re not even allowed to say that! Christine!’.
Kelly Brook is also reportedly set to join I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! for the 2025 season.
Other names reportedly joining them in the Jungle are actress Shona McGarty and Lisa Riley and political pundit Nick Ferrari.
Over the weekend ITV aired the first teaser trailer ahead of the upcoming series.
On Saturday the first trailer for the new series aired as it was revealed there is just three weeks to go until it returns to screens, suggesting the first episode will be November 16.
Playing on the words of the classic Christmas poem A Visit from St. Nicholas, the trailer showed a festive scene complete with stockings and Christmas cards.
The narrator then began: ‘Twas the night in October, and all through the house creatures were stirring, and I don’t mean a mouse’.
A giant spider was seen crawling across the scene before the show’s iconic theme tune music began.
