Kim Kardashian celebrated her recent birthday with a gift that any true real estate mogul would appreciate: the mansion next door to her own sprawling Hidden Hills residence. The Kardashians star recently dropped $7 million to snap up the dwelling in her celebrity-studded enclave, per TMZ.
The shapewear entrepreneur’s newly acquired property features four bedrooms and five bathrooms. It boasts a slew of luxury amenities, including multiple fireplaces, stunning city views, and a spa. The 5,000-square-foot pad is reportedly part of a huge expansion to her existing compound—itself a $60 million “minimal monastery”—that is currently undergoing major renovations.
Kardashian bought her original Hidden Hills home for $20 million in 2014, while she was married to Ye, the musician formerly known as Kanye West. The “Gold Digger” hitmaker spent five years remodeling the eight-bedroom, 10-bathroom abode with the help of Belgian designer Axel Vervoordt. When the couple split in 2021, Kardashian paid West $23 million to make herself sole owner of the estate, citing a desire to keep the house as the primary residence in which to raise their four children.

This isn’t the first time Kardashian has added to the hyperminimalist compound. During her divorce proceedings with West in 2022, the reality star purchased a neighboring four-bedroom, three-bathroom house for $6.3 million. After their divorce was finalized in 2024, she began substantial renovations on the now-15,000-square-foot mega-mansion. In a March 2025 episode of The Kardashians, she documented moving out of the home in preparation for the nearly two-year construction process. “I’m packing up my entire house. I’m fully remodeling, and it’s not easy to do this with four kids,” Kardashian said in the episode. In April 2025, she reportedly added a new wing to the unfinished property.
